BTRC is a license issuing authority that provides licenses to different kinds of operators who require a license in order to carry out their services. Each of these operators offer their services to a number of subscribers. While various kinds of operators offer various kinds of services for example an ISP can provide a consumer with an internet connection while a mobile operator will provide his customer with different kinds of cellular services. At the moment there 21 different kinds of operators which is shown in the diagram below. Each of these operators are again divided into various subcategories. The zonal operators like ISPs are divided into different zones according to their location. A list of the various operators along with their contact information is available in the 'Operators Menu' on the left.
